                            WINDSHIELD REPAIR EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES

Windshield Repair Equipment other than the windshield repair tool itself includes Drills and Ultra Violet Curing Lights. The drill is used to drill a hole to inject the resin into the break or crack. Some stone breaks like the bullseye and combination break typically do not require drilling but the star breaks and partial bullseye almost always require drilling.  Long Crack repair requires drilling at the point. Windshield repair resins are cured by UV rays. This is the best method because you have control of when the resin cures. Some repairs may take one minute while others can take thirty minutes and you do not want the resin to start curing until you have completely injected the break or crack.
