WINDSHIELD REPAIR TOOLS
There are two basic parts to a windshield repair tool, the injector and the holding structure.
- The injector vacuums out the air, creates a vacuum within the break and injects the windshield repair resin. Threaded piston-cylinder injectors are the most popular and easiest to use because of their basic simplicity.
- The holding structure does just that, holds the injector level over the impact point. The holding structure, sometimes called a bridge, keeps the tool on a stationary place while the repair is being performed.
The suction cups, an often overlooked part of a glass repair kit, hold the structure to the glass and this is where the pressure comes from. The pressure that injects the resin comes from the opposing force on the suction cup. If a suction cup is too stiff and or large it will have too much pressure and can cause the break to spread or push the laminate and ruin the cosmetics of the repair.
A holding structure for a windshield crack repair does all of the above but must also slide smoothly along the crack.
Crack Openers are placed on the inside of the windshield in order to pry open the crack and inject the windshield repair resin from the surface.
Windshield Repair Injector - This stainless steal windshield repair injector holds 36 drops of resins can do 8 repairs without reloading. Load it once for a full day of work. It has about 25 hgs of vacuum and a heating-port to keep your resin warm. We also use this to injector-slide resin into an edge crack without the structure.

Holding Structure - This bridge type structure holds the injector and is used for the repair of chips and at the point of cracks. The custom made suction cups prevent flowereing, spreading damage, and can slide down a crack by stradeling the crack. This is also a 3-in-1 tool - see the On-Line Store for more.

Holding Structure for Long Cracks - This windshield repair tool holds the injector and smoothly slides along a crack.

The Complete Classic Crack Master - This is a Classic Holding structure, plus the Deluxe Stainless Steel Injector for a windshield repair tool that is perfect right down to the suction cups. Holds 36 drops of resin, which means you can load it in the morning and not have to re-load all day which saves time and work. Most systems you have to take apart and re-load for every repair. Our injector can do up to eight repairs without having to re-laod. It also has 25 inches hg of available vacuum. Two-inch custom durometer suction cups will prevent flowering and gives maximum control of pressure. That's right your pressure comes from the suction cups. Too much or too stiff and you can ruin the repair and spread the damage.

Complete Crack Repair Tool - This is a long crack repair tool that slides along and injects the resin into the crack from the surface. The new Crackmaster is designed to butt up to the tool at the point when using the patented Multi-Viscosity Method and can go to the edge of the windshield. The injector holds 36 drops of resin.

The Star Flexor -Flexing is a basic required procedure to completely fill breaks when they are being stubborn. This is the only tool that does it for you. With other systems you have to do it with your hand and a probe.

Crack Openers are used to pry open cracks so that crack resin can be injected from the surface of a crack. Must be of proper length and the suction cups must be the proper size and durometer to symmetrically open the crack and not cause the crack to spread. See the On-Line store for three different sizes.

New Quick-Turn Injector Done in 60 seconds. - For stone-break repair the Quick-Turn Injector threading is five times faster than our classic injector. The classic injector is threaded for maximum control which is needed for long crack repair but during stone-break repair when the resin chamber gets low on resin it can take many turns to get to the top, so we now have our Quick-Turn Injector for chip repairs and it can also be used at the point of a crack. As with our classic injector it holds enough resin for about 8-10 repairs without re-loading. This is the fastest stone-break injector on the market. Average time to vacuum and completely fill most breaks is around 60 seconds. We use this injector ourselves at a car wash where we are able to start and finish the repair while the car is being vacuumed. We are done before the vehicle goes into the wash. Fits any holding structure with 1/2 x 20 threads. $135.00
