Many technicians will try anything to prevent having to manually flex legs such as increasing the pressure on the resin which will often end up flowering and ruining the appearance of the repair or using very low viscosity resin. After using it once you will never want to do a windshield repair without it. The manual, time consuming and painful flexing of star-legs with a hand held probe is now obsolete.

The New Star-Leg Flexor:

Pressure is adjustable and it can be placed at any angle on the leg (crack). The Star-Leg Flexor easily moves from leg to leg, can do two legs at once, has three pressure points and three adjustable pressure positions. Pressure can also be adjusted by the size and durometer of the suction cup. Bolt at the tip can move the pressure point from the base of the leg to the middle or tip when it is a longer leg (if necessary) and also allows you to raise the tip to check a leg when you are mounted over and parallel to the leg. You can mount parallel or perpendicular to the leg(s) it does not matter. It also works as a crack opener for long cracks off the bottom of the windshield where the dashboard prevents other crack openers.

Recommended Optional Parts

Note:  The Star Flexor for $99.95 comes with two suction cups. See above picture on the right side. One is two inches and the other is 1- ¾. This is a low pressure low profile mode. You will need at least two modes.   If you do not have an Ultra Bond cross-bar/crack opener we recommend you purchase the optional Swivel Bolt ($9.50) and 3 ¼ inch suction cup ($3.00) for a higher profile and more pressure when needed.
